I completed my bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture and participated in scientific research on the effects of ocean acidification and warming on sea urchins behaviour. This early exposure ignited my passion for animal behaviour in the complex marine world. For my master's degree, I specialized in Marine Biology, focusing on the fitness-related behaviours of sea urchins and sea cucumbers.
Currently, I am doing my PhD under supervision of Alexander Kotrschal, Lysanne Snijders and Marc Naguib, studying the evolution of social behaviour under predation pressure in guppies (Poecilia reticulata). This research aims to integrate behavioural assay and molecular mechanism analysis to explore how predation drives the evolution of social behavior.
